Singer, trumpet player, and composer Peter Hunt and his collective journey through original compositions, bringing their shared understanding to the weave of the rhythmical and melodic tapestry.

Influenced by African music, jazz, funk, and soul, the five-piece ensemble features long-time collaborators from the group Kooii: Brisbane and Sunshine Coast-based Tommy Sexton on bass, Travis Jenkins on guitar, and Sam Mitchell on drums, with local legend Nic Campbell doubling on piano and saxophone. In the jazz tradition, their tunes open with signature melodies heralded by the two horns, leading into improvisations that bring the music into the vitality of the moment.
